Many of Kubelk's interpretations became cult, including the 1972 recording of Antonn Dvok's 9th Symphony 'From the New World' with the Berlin Philharmonic: The Maestro has thus "captured the enthusiasm of his players and generates a sense of excitement and poetry" (Gramophone). For its 125th birthday,
