Kota Doria is a fabric that's been woven for centuries in India, often for summer saris and shawls; it's more air than fabric, drapey and supple, light as a feather. It's as sheer and flowy as chiffon but the weave is a bit different as you can see. Usually these Kota Doria fabrics are about 90% Silk 10% Cotton, but this artisan didn't specify
