Model typically wears size Medium and decided to size dow do to the garments A-line cut HOWEVER wouldn't suggest exceeding models back/bust measurement  in either the small or the Medium (model tried on both and didn't feel the top fit much different) the top doesn't have stretch and buttons are secured with a  small piece of elastic and you don't want to chance popping it

model was also able to wear the small due to being smaller at the top Keep bust size in mind when considering to size down
